The brief: To create a welcoming frontage to the primary school’s exterior entrance area and school playground windows. To tidy up the notices to parents that were currently blue tacked to the windows and produce a professional but friendly entrance.

The process: Two Thirds Design were invited back to Tame Valley Academy to brainstorm ideas for their school exterior.

We had previously transformed the main office and waiting area with interior glass vinyl and wall displays. So we used the existing brand and graphical elements to create window displays that allowed the light in but gave the classroom, staffroom and offices privacy.

The end result: The main external signage was created using diBond an extremely long lasting material which was wrapped in a UV protected vinyl that was printed with UV inks to guarantee the colour wouldn’t fade from the sun. The full colour printed vinyl was fitted to the exterior and the frosted vinyl to the interior of the windows to create the displays. We installed updateable magnetic A5 window poster pockets to the door and entrance window so that the school staff could update notices to parents in a clean easy way.
