The brief: To create a welcoming and friendly environment to the primary school’s entrance area.
The process: Two Thirds Design were invited back to St. John’s and St. Peter’s C of E Academy to brainstorm ideas for their reception interior. The area consisted of lots of external windows, internal glass panels and glazed doors. This Church of England Academy welcome children and parents of all faiths and celebrate both the religious and cultural diversity of their pupils. We created a graphical display that reflects the school ethos by using a montage of inspirational and local photography, illustrations, flags that represent the student population of the school, as well as key school statements.
The end result: We used a combination of solid and opaque window vinyl, with profile cut vinyl text to transform the school reception area. The welcoming window display captured the diverse and vibrant nature of this inner-city primary school.
