The brief: To create a welcoming entrance that reflects the Primary School’s core values. To tidy up the notices to parents that were currently blue tacked to the windows and walls to produce a professional but friendly entrance.

The process: Two Thirds Design were invited to Christ Church Primary School to brainstorm ideas for their school interior.

The existing foyer had a wonderful modern stained glass window. So we wanted our designs to compliment and enhance this feature. We used the School’s core values, mission statement, diamond rules, existing logo and graphical elements from the stained glass to create their wall displays. We also designed an interactive Prayer Tree that the children can hang their own prayers and wishes too.

The end result: The reception hatch was framed with full colour printed vinyl cut lettering. The Prayer Tree was created using reverse printed acrylic die cut to shape with transparent hooks attached to the face.

Wall displays were created from acrylic disks mounted over die cut wall vinyl. The radiator was wrapped in heatproof vinyl as well as an achievement box.

We created an updateable staff board by reverse printing on acrylic and mounting acrylic poster pockets to the face. We installed updateable acrylic boards with clear acrylic leaflet dispensers so that the school staff could update notices to parents in a clean easy way.
