The brief: To transform the school reception and develop ideas for a wall display using forest leaves.
The process: Two Thirds Design were invited to Claregate Primary School in Wolverhampton to create a forest themed display.
The end result: A welcoming reception waiting area for pupils, staff and visitors. The walls and doors were vinyl wrapped, the windows, hatch and glazed door had triple printed window vinyl installed. Foamex boards were also bonded over the wall vinyl to give a 3d effect as well as fixed on stand-offs to hide a vast amount of trunking, pipes and electrics. An updatable tree was created by printing on cut-to-shape reverse printed acrylic and fitted on top of the wall vinyl and supplied with printed paper leaves to be glue-dotted to the face. The project was finished with updatable wooden snap frames.
