The brief: The Academy was refurbishing their Sixth Form block and wanted to transform their Geography Department with inspirational curriculum displays.
The process: Two Thirds Design were invited to George Salter Academy to brainstorm ideas with the Geography department.
Content was carefully selected to make sure the displays were relevant and up-to–date but wouldn’t age quickly if the curriculum changed the following year.
The end result: The Geography departments’ windows were transformed by printing two landscapes on transparent window vinyl with printed spot white to create a dramatic opaque foreground. A curriculum-linked display containing a montage of photos and key topics was printed on Foamex with an anti graffiti laminate and fitted within an existing frame.
