The brief: To transform a corridor space into the Key Stage 1’s school library. To reflect the school’s motto, values and existing branding whilst promoting reading.
The process: Two Thirds Design were invited to Dovecotes Primary School in Wolverhampton to brainstorm ideas for their new library space. We used inspirational reading quotes with illustrated worlds exploding from books to create a backdrop for the school library.
The end result: The main walls either side of the corridor were covered cut-to-shape foamex boards. The windows were covered with triple printed vinyl to continue the scene. The trees were printed on to the reverse side of acrylic, so that additional paper leaves could adhered to it with glue dots, to create a resource.
